Amazon now carries paperback versions of A Woman’s Scorn! Though only available on  the American site today, the book will find its way to the international venues shortly enough.

Lupyne Books publishes my second novel, A Woman’s Scorn. The e-book version of the novel is released on Amazon.com and Smashwords, with distribution to expand to Amazon’s other sites by the end of next week. On-line stores like Barnes and Noble, Kobo and ITunes will also offer the electronic version of the story in the very near future.

Lupyne Books is founded! A new imprint to showcase all my future fantastic works of phenomenal prose.

I finally got on the blog band wagon! I created a blog on WordPress, where I plan to share by personal insights and experiences while on the journey to market my current novel. I’ll also do the same with future books. Visit Marc Labelle - Author of Knightfall to peruse “a fantasy author’s musings and other inner imagery”.

You can now find me on LinkedIn, where I plan to connect with fellow writing professionals and hopefully build a strong network to help me promote my work. Of course, I intend to return the favor. Please peruse my profile.

Knightfall now has its own page on Facebook! I dedicated a separate  page for the novel after finding this cool new app that features books. It is called BookPulse and basically puts all the information you would want on a single page: an overview of the book, where to find the book for purchase, a sample chapter, a few reviews, to name a few. These specific tid bits are currently included in Knightfall’s page, but I hope to add some more in the future (maybe a trivia game for those who have read the book, or a poll for fans to tell me if they would like to see a more detailed recounting of a secondary character’s past or future adventures). So hop on over to Knightfall’s page and enjoy!

March 17, 2012

I have entered Knightfall in the Readers Favorite 2012 Annual Book Award Contest! The novel will contend for acclaim in the following categories: Fiction - Fantasy, Fiction - General and Young Adult - Fantasy/Sci-Fi. The organization will announce finalists July 1 and it will award the winners September 1. The novels from these finalists and winners will be displayed at the Miami Book Fair International, running November 11-18.

November 11, 2011

Just for Nook owners, the e-book version of Knightfall is now available on the Barnes and Noble website! Keep your eyes on the web, for other sites will undoubtedly make the e-book available to those who want it.

October 29, 2011

Knightfall is now available for download on the Kindle! You may purchase a copy on the same Amazon page as the paperback version. As stated before, the retail price for this format is $9.99 US.

October 7, 2011

I have started the process with Strategic Book Group to have Knightfall converted to e-book format. The finished product should be available for download within the next couple of months. The suggested retail price for this format will be $9.99 US.

Knightfall has just received its first “professional” review! I’m calling it “professional”  because it doesn’t come from a friend or relative (even if their opinion means just as much, if not more, than those from total strangers). Author Anna del C. Dye for ReadersFavorite.com has given the novel a five-star rating! It feels great to have my work validated by someone in the industry. Please read the review and see if you agree with her!

For some reason, the Facebook Fan Page Strategic Book Group provided me is no longer allowing me to make updates. To rectify this situation, I have taken it upon myself to fix the problem. So I have created a new Fan Page and it will be my personal responsibility to maintain it. I will also be playing around with it and adding a few extras that were not on the original page. Hope you enjoy it.

I have found my way to Shelfari -- “The Site for Books & Readers”. If you were interested in knowing what I read, this is the place to see it. Feel free to browse my bookshelf.

May 31, 2011

I don’t know how far behind i am in getting this news out, but I just found out myself. While going through ye good ole Facebook news feed, I found another site that has Knightfall for sale. You can find it at Books-A-Million.

May 30, 2011

As previously mentioned, the pages of MarcLabelle.com have changed. Welcome to the revamped site! Basically, all that has changed is its appearance. The information is mostly the same, just delivered in a prettier package (I hope). Please fee free to send any opinions my way.

January 17, 2011

MarcLabelle.com has come to the World Wide Web! It is almost complete, but I still consider it a work in progress. Don’t be surprised to see changes in the existing pages.

November 24, 2010

As promised in my article featured in the West Nipissing Tribune, I have donated two copies of Knightfall to the West Nipissing Public Library. I obliged them and signed both copies, which was an honor I wasn’t expecting them to ask for. I also found out they had already ordered their own copy, since a few people had already been asking for the book. So, soon, the library will have three copies to lend out. This will work out well since they have a few satellite locations.
